| Name: Chris, Ray & Bob From: Rochdale Date: Tuesday, January 30, 2007 Went to the The Newlands Hotel for christmas from the 23rd to the 27th of Dec. I booked the holiday via e-mail and had excellent corespondence from heather and phil. When we arrived we was made most welcome by both Heather and Phil. We was helped in with our luggage and introduced to the rest of the people staying there. The food was excellent and there was always plenty. Phil and Heather go out of there way to make you feel at home. The other guests in the hotel all got on very well and we all had a great time. Another sign that heather and phil run a great hotel, is that people kept popping in to wish them merry christmas, these was people that had stayed before. Also most of the other guests that was staying had stayed before and booked to stay next christmas while we were still there. The hotel is very clean and very cosy. I would go again without any hesitation, as would ray and my dad. I can not fault this hotel or heather and phil at all. Thank you for a lovely christmas. |

So impressed with this small couple ran hotel that I took my partner for a few days this feb 2007. Great room, Great food, very friendly hosts, clean everywhere. There should be more of these themed hotels and not just 4 blank walls. Pghil & Heather have gone to allot of trouble with the music themed bar and Lord of the Rings dining room. We will be back without a doubt, you should try it whether your single, a couple or even family....10 out of 10 |

Phil and Heather make you feel like you have known them for years and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at home there. There food is to the highest standard and was delicious. The hotel is very clean and very tidy and we all had a brilliant time. Phil and Heather will be our first choice when we go to blackpool again in the future. The best hotel in blackpool. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel is very clean & the breakfast is top class. We would definately recommend this hotel, especially to families with young children. Our 2 yr old had a ball and was entertained with the books & puzzles in the bar in the evenings. We won't forget the entertainment provided by Phil (keep up the singing Phil!) Nice & close to the sea-front without being too noisy it's a great base for any stay in Blackpool. We'll go back here again in the future. Should have been their at new year but a new job put paid to that. Had a ride over yesterday 13th Feb to book for Easter cant wait because I know it will be a cracking week end.I have no hesitation recommending a stay at the newlands with Phil & Heather two of the nicest people you would wish to meet. |

The hotel was clean, comfortable, peacefull and quirky. The themed dinning room and bar lounge gave you the extra that other B&Bs could not offer. Id definatly stay again if we are passing through. |
