The apartment is lovely, overlooking woodland, with woodpeckers and other birds visiting, and set in a garden which must have taken so much work and love. And so peaceful...just what we needed on our break from noisy London. The breakfasts were just fantastic...we could have survived our stay on those alone. Thanks Doreen and Richard for looking after us so well, it's so good that such a nice couple are running this lovely hideaway. Next time we are heading west we will definitely be stopping off at Brickmoor. |

Doreen and Richard are great hosts, and the large, tastefully fitted and furnished suite, provides a great context for the beauty and wonder of Devon and Cornwall. Dinner on our own deck in this superb woodland garden setting remains an outstanding memory. |

Everything about the apartment is wonderful. It is quality throughout and sparkling clean. Every need is catered for and the breakfasts, of which there is a large choice, are simply wonderful. All the food is fresh with local products and home made bread. I have stayed in 4 star hotels that were not as good as this. The location would take some beating too and the narrow country lanes surrounding the local area make travelling by car 'interesting'. A thoroughly enjoyable experience which we will definitely be repeating. Many thanks to you both |
