For gardeners, Bodnant Gardens are stunning, especially when the Laburnum arch is in flower in spring. Explore a copper mine at Beddgelert or a slate Cavern at Blaenau Ffestiniog. People of all abilities can climb Snowdon by a rack and pinion railway at Llanberis, a fascinating town with interesting shops and restaurants. Families can head for Glasfryn Parc Activity Centre for archery, go-karting and much more.
